Hey there! My name is Maria. My love and passion for hair and people began in a small town just outside of Chicago, when I walked in bravely at fourteen years old and asked the local shop if they needed a shampoo girl! It was meant to be as the kind husband and wife team were also teachers in the hair industry! My excitement grew as I decided to go to beauty school and meet and share my love for hair with more people. Winning the top medal for hair cutting in her graduating class, only fueled me more. 


After a few salon jobs on the North Shore and Bloomingdale area to sharpen my skills, I once again decided to walk boldly into a salon and ask if they needed help! This was the turning point in my career, little did I know, as I had to audition and was in competition with other stylists to work with Mario Tricocci at his flag ship salon in Woodfield! The first salon ever to be in a mall! I went on to have a great career within his organization, becoming a hair cutting specialist and specializing in color and the latest color techniques.


As time went on, I decided to break out on my own, and created my own niche and business focusing on personal services for the corporate world, calling it “The corporate cut” and simultaneously focusing strongly on working with Brides and their Bridal parties giving them personal service by exclusively bringing the salon to them on their wedding day! I traveled between Lake Geneva and downtown Chicago on many weekends to make all their dreams come true! All the while being a mom to two beautiful babies Alexandria and Joseph. And having my own private suite where she had her daily salon business and clients that sought me out! Now in Arlington Heights and a part of the community for many years, I continue my passion to bring joy, professionalism and personal attention to detail to ensure each client receives an incredible experience, knowing for that moment they need to be pampered and I am here to do it!
